There are many ways to address issues affecting our daily lives. This short film offers a reflection on the various problems faced daily by the female population, which also concern society as a whole – from the idealization and sexualization of the female body, to periods, and old age issues, among many others. Each situation is presented by a woman of a different age, who shows how these topics impact her life, and tells her own story with the purpose of raising awareness of the problems endured by that specific age group. Each issue is approached through a different animation technique, used by Brazilian filmmaker Camila Kater to highlight the complexity of that particular stage in a woman’s life. (Filipa Alexandre)
