Curtas Vila do Conde will participate in the upcoming Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, scheduled from January 31st to February 2nd. The festival will share a stand at the Short Film Market with Agência — Portuguese Short Film Agency. This presence aims to encourage submissions to the festival's 34th edition competitions and promote the activities and opportunities of Curtas Pro, the program dedicated to audiovisual industry professionals. Additionally, the Portuguese Short Film Agency will showcase its films at the world's largest short film market.

Their presence in Clermont-Ferrand marks another step in the festival's internationalisation efforts, as it celebrates its 34th year. Beyond the stand, Clermont-Ferrand will host Euro Connection, a co-production forum, where Marta Magnuska's project "Range of View" will be showcased.

Several Portuguese films have been selected for various competitions: "Dog Alone" by Marta Reis Andrade in the international category; "Because Today is Saturday" by Alice Eça Guimarães, which won the Audience Award in the Portuguese Competition at Curtas Vila do Conde 2025; and "Percebes" by Alexandra Ramires and Laura Gonçalves, in the European Short Film Audience Award - ESFAA competition, which also won the Audience Award in the Portuguese Competition at Curtas Vila do Conde 2024.
