OSCAR® Qualifying Film Festival
Curtas Vila do Conde - International Film Festival is an OSCAR® Qualifying Film Festival. The International Competition Grand Prize and the National Competition Best Film Award are eligible for consideration in the Best Animation / Best Fiction (Live Action) categories of the Academy Awards®.

Curtas Vila do Conde candidate for the European Film Awards
One of the films awarded by the jury will be chosen as a nominee for the European Film Awards, in the short film category, organized annually by the European Film Academy.

This tour will run from July to November, including film screenings all over the country, through three different programs:

— CURTINHAS (selection of the competitive program, judged by a jury made up of children)

· THE GRAND MOTHER, Julia Hazuka [Honourable Mention M/6]
