In 2017, the Curtas Vila do Conde National Competition is once again the barometer of Portuguese production, highlighting the uniqueness and diversity of cinema made in Portugal with the national premiere of the latest works by filmmakers already common at the festival, and authors internationally awarded, but also from a group of promising names that are asserting themselves in the field of short films.
