The festival will take more than 250 films to Vila do Conde in a showcase of the most creative and innovative things that are happening at the moment with cinematographic language, in permanent dialogue with other forms of artistic and cultural expression. The focus of these short films will be the works of the North American Todd Solondz, a major figure in independent cinema and a scathing critic of contemporary American society; and the Portuguese-Angolan Carlos Conceição. It will also be possible to watch, in the From Short to Long section, the premiere of the first two episodes of Luz Vermelha, a series by the duo André Santos and Marco Leão and Knives and Skin, by Jennifer Reader.
