The 30th edition of Curtas Vila do Conde is scheduled for the 9th to the 17th of July 2022 with a distinct program, which will reflect the celebration of the 30 editions of the Festival.

There are 30 editions of a festival that knew how to assume its responsibility as a major event in the dissemination of world cinema, having overcome the difficulties of growth without crystallizing a formula. This is a pure film festival, where all visions, genres, formats and cinematographies are welcomed. To take care of the films and the basic principles of an event of this type, it was essential to reformulate ideas, new contexts and new ideas that boosted the festival as one of the main events dedicated to the dissemination of cinematographies, with sharp media repercussion, international projection and interested and participative.


A wide range of training actions, aimed at specific audiences, will also be carried out, under the responsibility of the Curtinhas and Take One! sections, including workshops, ateliers, master classes and debates.
