In François Reichenbach’s second feature, we follow a series of moments in the life of a young Senegalese boxer, Abdoulaye Faye, trying his luck in Paris. We get to know his wishes and desires: his dream of winning a boxing tournament, his admiration for women, or his hard time adapting to Parisian life (the cold and the fog haunt him). At a certain point, when he meets a young Japanese girl at the Bois de Boulogne, his routine is ruptured. What will the future hold for him? Screened in a newly restored digital copy.
