Having appeared from heaven knows where, when João de Deus returns home there is something he cannot get out of his head: a fragment of the soundtrack from the film Johnny Guitar. The city awakes, and others begin their daily walk. They say that Monteiro, Mr. de Deus alter ego, has already been out with a certain Nicholas Ray.
