Lenge is a Baka Pygmee. Among his people in the Equatorial Forest of South-East Cameroon, Lenge is a tale-teller. He knows the stories of the world and the melodies of Tibola, the White Elephant. He saw the Bird Fofolo chasing sun beams. From the depths of bygone ages Lenge's face and voice evoke Gbanga-Tita, the Pumpkin God. He his the last tale-teller in this part of the forest.
