Get Away From Me (a story about passions) is the story of a song in the form of a fictional documentary. It tries to narrate the course of the song using interviews, period stagings, shootings in Cuba, filed material and oneiric images. The Cuban singer Bola de Nieve made the Bolero 'Vete de Mi ' ('Get Away From Me'), written by Argentine composers Virgilio and Homero Exposito, famous wordwide. But he did not know that he had met these two composers back in the early 1940's, and that they never tried to give him any of their songs because of their youth and their admiration for him. Virgilio Exposito narrates the story of the bolero, how it was introduced into Cuba, and what happened to it.
