Nezhad, a fourteen-year-old boy, is forced to take care of his younger brother and two sisters following the death of their parents. In order to survive, he drops out of school and begins smuggling goods on the Iran/Iraq border with the help of his mule. Things get even worse when his mule breaks a leg and he must from then on carry the goods himself.
