In the next take the survivor sits almost triumphantly on the dead cock. The images of this fragmentary scene are framed with a black circle. The viewer contemplates the cock fight from a distance, as if through telescope. Initially Animali Criminali does not make it clear whether humans are involved. The film consists of a sequence of scenes in which animals eat one another. Originally the shots come from the Luca Comerio collection. They are used to convey fascist ideology, probably to illustrate the will to fight and conquer.
