Guglielmo Bertone, owner of an unbelievable denture that turns his face into a real mask, takes part in a RAI contest for a TV newsreader.The Jury considers his looks inadequate for television. However, not daring to tell him, they use all possible stratagems to make him give up. Bertone, however, with his culture, his fine diction and his tenacity is able to overcome everything. Finally, they are practically forced to accept him.
