A visual documentary about the underground German band Einstürzende Neubauten filmed in 1985 during their Japanese tour. Besides some shots from their concerts, the band appears in elaborate choreographies among the ruins of a derelict factory. An interesting thing: On the credits there's Yohei Taneda, Tarantino's set decorator in the Japanese sequences of Kill Bill 1.Sogo Ishii: "After the showing of 'Crazy Family' in Berlin, Einstürzende Neubauten's members who were in the room came to tell me that they were going to tour Japan and that they would like me to make a [VID] Video for them. I immediately said yes because I liked them a lot but instead of a [VID] Video we made a 16mm film with almost 50 minutes which remains one of my favourite films.
