Curtas Vila do Conde will show, in 2011's edition, a retrospective of the Romanian author, screening all his works: three short films and two features. The director will attend the Festival and will also present a masterclass. This retrospective realizes the importance of Romanian cinema worldwide, but also the relevance in recent editions of Curtas Vila do Conde: over the past two years, two major awards were for Romanian films (Colivia, by Adrian Sitaru in 2010; Renovare, by Paul Negoescu in 2009).
