Reported missing for a long time, just like much of John Ford's silent films, ""Bucking Broadway"" is the legendary director's sixth film. It was restored and digitalized after its discovery inside the CNC (Cinematography French Centre) in 2002.In the cast we can find Harry Carey, one of the biggest silent films star, who is best-known for his western roles. Carey is Cheyenne Harry, a Wyoming ranch cowboy in love with his boss's daughter. She decides to go to New York with Captain Thornton, a millionnaire who visited the ranch. But quickly the young girl discovers that life in the city isn't what she longed for. The broken-hearted Cheyenne sets out to search for his loved one, freeing her from Captain Thornton's claws and from the big metropolis' extravagant and decayed way of life.
