This film takes a typical cartoon premise--dogs and cats chasing each other--but plays with our standard expectations in unexpected ways. The film appears to be an interactive screen-play presenting parallel lives; in this case, an anthropomorphic dog and his alter ego and an anthropomorphic cat and her alter ego, all meandering through their alternative and intersecting realities. The four animated stories are simultaneously displayed on the screen wherein we are led and misled to various conclusions.
