A twit arrives to a small hamlet, forgotten by time and taken by the dust and precariousness of the rural world. Riding his horse, he introduces the story. Children play, adults play… Among the crackling flames of the fires that try to throw dust in the cold’s eyes, life is, however, celebrated. This is the second short by Dea Kulumbegashvili, a filmmaker from Georgia showing her work for the first time at Vila do Conde, presenting us with a beautiful fable, filmed in black and white, that takes us back to the world of rituals and initiation games, between violence and awe, as in a poem, the first kiss, as arid as the barren place in which it happens.
