Vivian Ostrovsky has been a regular presence at Curtas Vila do Conde, since 2000, where she has already presented several works, and that has even received an honourable mention of the jury of the International Competition, in 2002, for the film "Nikita Kino". In 2011, Solar hosted the exhibition "Ocean Bazar". which was created by Ostrovsky and by Silvi Simon. The purpose of this short film by Vivian Ostrovsky is to pay a tribute to Chantal Akerman, a filmmaker who died in 2015 and that was a long-time friend of hers. The film recovers private memories from several of their meetings: in Paris, in 1974, at Cinema Gaumont Rive Gauche, where they attended a private session of "Saute ma Ville" (1968), or Tel Aviv, in 2005, when Akerman was looking for an apartment in the Israeli capital to film "Là-bas" (2006), to Rio de Janeiro, in October 2015, when Vivian Ostrovsky received a phone call to inform her about the physical disappearance of her friend Chantal Akerman.
