The title of the film refers to one of the most popular water parks in Greece, an amusement space that every summer welcomes thousands of tourists who enjoy the various activities offered there. Still, what happens in the park during the rest of the year, when it is closed to the public? During this period, the park is inhabited by a handful of residents, who entertain themselves in games and dilemmas that defy the monotony and revive the memory of the liveliest moments in the park. Among them Paulina, the heart of Copa-Loca, the link between all residents of the park, stands out. The extroverted Paulina challenges all her companions to adventures and challenges that stimulate the senses and the joy of human relationships. Premiered worldwide in the prestigious Directors Fortnight, Copa-Loca also marks the debut of Greek filmmaker Christos Massalas in Curtas Vila do Conde. (PC)
