Lucas' endless and aimless travels on his motorcycle seem to signal an inability to face his present. By delaying his return home, daily, Lucas puts at risk the relationship with his girlfriend, as if it was another problem from which he constantly tries to hide. As the doors close and the people closest to him drift away, Lucas feels trapped, with time running out on him: the only thing that doesn’t abandon him is his camera. (JA)
