Father Death is the name of Evols’ new single that anticipates the third album by this collective from Vila do Conde. The track came to be via Allen Ginsberg’s poem “Father Death Blues”, reinvented here by in a balance between a rhythm section with unlimited powers and a renewed worship of guitars, profane heirs of psychedelic music. Composed, recorded and mixed by the band itself, the new Evols album will be released in the second half of 2017. For this special concert to commemorate the 25th edition of Curtas de Vila do Conde, the Evols will play the entire new album, in a pre-presentation of this work. The concert will have a visual collaboration with Hugo Amaral, an artist who occasionally works alongside Evols in their live performances.
