Following elections and an unlikely political alliance, the new president of the French Senate is an ecologist. His first decision is to let everything grow freely in the famous Luxembourg Palace, starting with the grand gardens. Such disarray cannot be tolerated and the stereotypical Senate, mostly male and mouldy, quickly sets up countermeasures to regain control over that quintessential national heritage and symbol of supremacy that is the French garden. The old senators play with power, like temperamental children with their games, in a burlesque fantasy that unfolds to the rhythm of irony, sustained by a simple but effective script, of fine-tuned dialogues. Whose interests do our elected representatives truly serve?
