Directed for the Sam Spiegel Film & Television School, this small film is part of “Love Letters to Cinema”, a collective project comprised of short films by ten Israeli filmmakers. For Lapid, this is the opportunity to create a film memory which intersects with the story of a 19-year-old soldier who watches Pasolini's “Teorema” and is struck by its last image. The power of the iconic Italian director's work reveals its ability to move the viewer, and at the same time Lapid embarks on a journey both through his cinephilia and film history. (DR)
