On the 18th of May 2016, a police officer recorded a nine second video in which Sidil Moctar, a street seller, responded to a police attack in the city of Barcelona. “We, the blacks” tries to disentangle those images that underlie citizen rejection, police persecution, racism, and the ongoing fight of an organization of street sellers in defence of their dignity.
