A pianist lives in a big city. Comfortable in his anonymity, isolated from society in his apartment in an ordinary dorm building, he suffers from agoraphobia, an anxiety disorder that keeps him from socialising with people in public spaces. One day, when his medication ends, he has to go out, facing his most irrational fears and trying to avoid contact with other people. Little by little, this piano player realises he is not completely alone and that he will be able to overcome his fears. This animation by João Gonzalez deals with a very recurrent social problem in modern society, reflecting an increasingly individualised and less community-based way of life. (PC)
