The children gather at the house and the mess sets in, but Mena's head is somewhere else: in the harsh reality of a single mother's life, but also in the unforeseeable future. Time flies. As the night falls, Mena looks for something that will make her feel alive. It's a day of celebration, but she can't forget the past nor can't help living the present. “Dia De Festa”, which premiered in the prestigious Semaine de la Critique at Cannes, marks the return of Sofia Bost to Curtas Vila do Conde, after her first work, “Swallows”, was selected to Take One!'s competition in 2015.
