In the big city, there are several characters wandering through the mall and across the neighbourhoods, wether in chance meetings, at work or on their way home. Memories of grief seem to haunt their lives. Some run, others avoid their friends. Solitude is a victory against a world that doesn't let them breathe. Mixing several genres, namely the thriller and the musical, Diogo Baldaia reveals in “Destiny Deluxe” a cinematic inventiveness by crossing realism and the oneiric thus creating a surreal and surprising coming of age story.
