Produced by the Lusophone University of Lisbon, this short tells the story of siblings Mateus and Matilde, adventure buddies who spend a summer night catching firefly fish at the beach. Come dawn, Mateus wakes up with a mysterious kiss from a mermaid, the first kiss of a first love. “Ouro sobre Azul” oscillates between the mystery, in more bluish tones, and the vitality, in orange tones, with the two palettes coloring the entire narrative.
