In a universe similar to ours, however full of evil forces, Mister Powerful wishes to save his city and the world, but finds himself in a state of despondency and sadness, expressed by the color blue. Isolated from his acquaintances and always following the same routine, the hero has a dream that reveals what his problem is, and how common it is. Fearless, he battles the evil forces, but ends up defeated and makes a drastic decision to set aside his goals of saving humankind. With an expressive use of colors distinguishing the character’s different emotional stages, and with a comic approach, “Mister Powerful” marks brazilian filmmaker Oriol Barberà Masats’s debut at Curtas Vila do Conde.
