A story of fragments, coming one after the other like a collage of diffuse memories, along different moments of daily life, which is in turn permeated, altered, and influenced by cinema, photography and, above all, evocative of ghostly images. Always under the threat of fire and of this destruction imagery, “Our House in Flames” deftly plays with the threshold of the moment just before ignition or boiling, of the calm before the storm. (JA)
