There are many ways to approach the different subjects and issues concerning our society today. In a sensitizing way, “Rastro” invites us to reflect on the issue of plastic, and its disastrous consequence to the environment: pollution. Hélder, a young footballer, worries about the planet and its biodiversity, which causes him some socializing problems with his family and friends. Filmmaker Bruno Ferreira presents an environmental-themed narrative that highlights the need for ecological awareness by each of us, both as individuals and as a community. (Hugo Silva)
