In the video for “Incompatibilidades”, a track from his album “Selfie-Destruction”, PZ is multiplied, starring opposite himself, as a mirror for the several personas the song refers to. It may, therefore, look like an ingenious way of getting around the limitations imposed by the current rules of social distancing, and even a reference to the fact that the person we spend the most time with in times of isolation is ourselves, but it is actually a coherent choice with PZ’s other music videos, like “Deixei de Ser um Totó” or “Caga Nela”, in which he has explored this same home-made aesthetic and solitary choreographies. This is the debut at Curtas of Alexandre Azinheira, a director who has collaborated on other PZ tracks, as well as with artists such as Clã, X-Wife, and Supernada. (JA)
