The members of Fugly, a young band from Porto, are at the center of the music video for the song “Stay in Bed”, which is marked by an explosion of color, movement and sound that bring us closer to the visceral experience of a live performance. Through an insane montage work, with moments in “staccato” and others of psychedelic inspiration, director Hugo Amaral gives the stage to the “garage punk” basic elements: the musical instruments and their performers. This is Hugo Amaral's third participation in Curtas and in the Music Videos Competition, after having directed “Cops” (2020) and “Kindness and Talk” (2015), both for the band EVOLS. (JA)
