We enter the fields. In the beginning, there is the seed. The fruit it yields is sterile. The lines grow ever more pronounced, and the horizon slowly, almost imperceptibly, fades from view. Monocultures have homogenised the landscape to such an extent that we can no longer see beyond the fields, no longer look towards what lies in the distance.
