As usual, the programme associated with Take One! is one of the most exciting of Curtas. In addition to getting to know the best cinema that has been produced by Portuguese students in several national and international film schools, there is always the added possibility of being able to follow the first steps of what could be the leading authors of Portuguese cinema in the coming decades. It has already happened before in this competition with João Salaviza and Leonor Teles, awarded in previous editions.

The 2022 edition also includes two sessions curated by ESMAD, the audiovisual and media school based in Vila do Conde: a showcase with films produced in the last school year; and a special session to celebrate the 30th edition of Curtas.
