Directed to high school students, this program involves schools from Vila do Conde and Póvoa de Varzim.

My Generation is a kind of small festival with a certain autonomy within Curtas, as it is programmed by young teenagers and aimed at new audiences. It is the result of work in partnership with four secondary schools in the region and with the Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design (ESMAD), of the Polytechnic of Porto, based in Vila do Conde.

The selection methodology is similar to that of the other competitions, but the members of the respective committee are chosen among students from secondary schools and the university. He is also responsible for various organizational aspects such as graphic design and communication plan, selection of films, writing of texts, synopses and posters inspired by the films.
