Centenary of António Campos celebrated at Curtas

António Campos is one of the most unique filmmakers in Portuguese cinema of the last century. Self-taught, he began his artistic career in amateur cinema, with an 8mm film camera and the collaboration of an amateur theatre group from Leiria, his hometown.

In this program that marks the centennial of his birthday will screen part of his work. Today’s creening, scheduled for 8 pm at Teatro Municipal, will feature: A Treasure, Leiria 1960, Tuna Trap, The Invention of Love and Painted Walls of the Portuguese Revolution.
