The 15th edition of Euro Connection, the main platform for the European co-production for short films, will take place on 31 January and 1 February 2023, during the Short Film Market in Clermont-Ferrand International Film Festival.

Euro Connection is a platform to assist partnerships between European short films producers and distributors.

Producers wishing to submit a project to Euro Connection must send their application via email by 20 October 2022 to their country's representative. In Portugal, the associated festivals are Curtas Vila do Conde e IndieLisboa.

All projects must comply with the following requirements:

- be an animated short film, fiction, creative documentary or VR project;

- the duration must not exceed 30 minutes;

- the project must have part of its financing guaranteed by a third party (external source)

- the project must be open to international co-productions (suitable or intended for co-production)

- shooting or production must not start before June 2023.

A European jury, composed of industry professionals of different nationalities, will chose the projects that should move on to the final phase and that will present their pitching during the festival. The list of finalists will be disclosed to the winners by the end of November 2023.
