This tribute will then be composed by the screening of the four productions of Vila do Conde: "Land of My Dreams" by Yann Gonzalez, "O Milagre de Santo António", by Sergei Loznitsa, "Reconversão", by Thom Andersen; and "O Canto do Rocha", by Helvécio Marins Jr. These four films had its world premiere in the 20th Curtas Vila do Conde with great public success and critical acclaim.

This international premiere was an important place for Curtas Vila do Conde and specially for the films, that are now starting to receive invitations for other international festivals.

Also in this edition of the Locarno Film Festival will be screened other Portuguese films: "O Dom das Lágrimas" by João Nicolau; "O Que Arde Cura", by João Rui Guerra da Mata; "Zwazo", by Gabriel Abrantes (the first two were shown in the Portuguese Panorama of the 20th Vila do Conde, the third in the Portuguese Competition). Also selected was the new feature film of João Pedro Rodrigues and João Rui Guerra da Mata: "A Última Vez que Vi Macau".
