The day begins with the opening of Curtinhas - minifestival section within the festival - and the screening of the film "The Incredibles 2: The Super Heroes", at 3 p.m., at Vila do Conde Municipal Theater.


At 4:00 p.m., the New Spain exhibition opens at the Solar Galeria de Arte Cinemática, hosting works by seven emerging Spanish artists: Carla Andrade, Inés García, Laida Lertxundi, Lois Patiño, Natalia Marín and Samuel M. Delgado and Helena Girón. The exhibition is commissioned by José Manuel Lopéz and Nuno Rodrigues.


The screening of "Diamantino" by Gabriel Abrantes and Daniel Schmidt will mark the official opening session of the 26th Curtas Vila do Conde at 18:00, also at the Municipal Theater of Vila do Conde.


At 11:00 pm, the psychedelic rock trio Black Bombaim joins the percussionist João Pais Filipe in an unprecedented composition for "Dragonflies with Birds and Snake", directed by Wolfgang Lehmann.
