French director Yann Gonzalez will at Vila do Conde to present his latest film, "Un couteau dans le coeur", which will be screened today at 11:00 p.m. With a backgroud of the pornographic industry of the late 1970s in Paris, the feature film tells the story of Anne, producer of B-series porn movies. In an unmistakable style that has been maturing since the beginning of her career, the French director combines the drama of a failed love affair and serial murder, halfway between the erotic and the police.


The National Competition also starts today at 8:00 p.m., bringing together the best short-films produced in Portugal between 2017 and 2018. In this session will be screened: "Aquaparque", by Ana Moreira, "Pas de Confettis" by Bruno Ferreira, and also "Anteu", by João Vladimiro.


Take One!, dedicated to the production of cinema in a school context, goes on with two sessions of cinema in the afternoon and also a talk that will bring together representatives of several European universities.
