Steve Gunn created the soundtrack for the series "Visions In Meditation", directed between 1989 and 1990 by Stan Brakhage, one of the most important names in 20th century American experimental cinema. Over five decades he created an immense body of work with recurring central themes (birth, death, sexuality, innocence) and a huge variety of formats and techniques: hand-camera shooting, painting and scratching on the film itself, on-camera editing, and collages.
