Curtas Vila do Conde - International Film Festival is an OSCAR® Qualifying Film Festival. The International Competition Grand Prize and the National Competition Best Film Award are eligible for consideration in the Best Animation/Best Fiction (Live Action) categories of the Academy Awards®.

Curtas Vila do Conde candidate for the European Film Awards

One of the films awarded by the jury will be chosen as a nominee for the European Film Awards, in the short film category, organized annually by the European Film Academy.
