Best Film in competition, warranting a cash prize worth 2,250 euros sponsored by DCN

Beers.

ESMAD Award

The award is presented to the best film in each competitive category: Animation,

Documentary and Fiction, warranting a cash prize worth 1,500 euros (500 euros for each

category).

Fricon AUDIENCE AWARD

Presented to the film in the International Competition with the best average rating as voted by

the audience, warranting a cash prize worth 2,000 euros.

European Film Awards Short Film Prix Vimeo Candidate 2026

The jury awards a film that will be the Festival's candidate for nomination to the European

Film Awards in the short film category, organized by the European Film Academy in January

2026.

Universidade Católica Portuguesa School of Arts Award

1.500 euros for the Best Film.

6,000 euros in audio post-production services awarded to the best Portuguese film.

TVCINE Channels Award

Acquisition of the rights to show the winning film on TVCine channels.

Festhome Award

400 euros towards registration on the Festhome platform.

AUDIENCE AWARD

SPA – Portuguese Society of Authors

Presented to the film in the Portuguese Competition with best average rating as voted by the

audience, warranting a cash prize worth 1,500 euros.

The films in the Portuguese Competition are also eligible for the awards in the International

Competition.

EXPERIMENTAL COMPETITION

Oliva Art Center Award

Best Film in the Experimental Competition, warranting a cash prize worth 1,500 euros

sponsored by the Oliva Art Center.

MY GENERATION COMPETITION

Autobemguiados Award

Presented to the film with the best average resulting from audience voting in the festival

screenings, warranting a cash prize worth 1,250 euros sponsored by Auto Bemguiados.

CURTINHAS COMPETITION

Ativo Kids Award

Presented to the Best Film in the Curtinhas Competition, chosen by a group of 10 kids from

the ages of 8 to 12, warranting a cash prize worth 750 euros + voucher for purchases online

or in Ativo stores in a total amount of 250 euros, sponsored by Ativo Kids.

2,500 euros in equipment rental services.
