Curtinhas
Curtinhas is a mini-festival within Curtas Vila do Conde — which arises as an extension of the ANIMAR programme, promoted annually by Solar – Cinematic Art Galery and by the Education Service of Curtas CRL — designed for children and families.
Curtinhas programme includes competitions in three age groups — M/3, M/6, M/9 — whose winners are chosen by an attentive and demanding jury composed of a group of 10 children, aged between 8 and 12.
In 2024, Curtinhas was part of the 2nd Turma Curtas - Cinema for Schools, a special programme exclusively for school communities, which ran from May 14th to 25th.
'Perlimps', Alê Abreu
O Segredo dos Perlimps
The opening ceremony will include a screening of Alê Abreu's "Perlimps," an original animated feature film. The movie tells the story of Claé and Bruô, two warriors from opposing kingdoms who have a common goal: to protect the magical forest from dangerous machines. To succeed, they must overcome their differences and seek out the Perlimps, mystical and enigmatic creatures.
