Societies, film festivals, and audiences around the globe are changing at an accelerated pace. In this round table, professionals from different international film festivals will lay out these shifts and present their current approaches to audience development. Then they will anticipate challenges they may face in the future and debate new lines of action, in dialogue with the public. With the participation of Laurent Crouzeix (Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival), Mari Liis Keevallik (PÖFF Shorts), Mara Marxsen (Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg), Daniel Hadenius-Ebner (Vienna Shorts), and Nuno Rodrigues (Curtas Vila do Conde – International Film Festival), this round table will be moderated by Susana Costa Pereira (Desk Europa Criativa MEDIA Portugal).
