Curtas Vila do Conde Guest Office, located on the 1st floor, is the dedicated reception and support point for festival guests. At the counter or via the online portal (Filmchief), guests can collect their accreditations.

Loja das Curtas is a bookshop dedicated to cinema and the visual arts. Based at Solar - Galeria de Arte Cinemática, it is also present during the festival at the entrance to the Vila do Conde Municipal Theatre.

Loja das Curtas is also responsible for the distribution of publications and DVD editions produced by Curtas Vila do Conde IFF.

In recent years, we have witnessed a proliferation of artistic works often regarded as cinematic, though more commonly classified as video in various digital formats. These works frequently involve a recycling, or at least a reuse, of techniques and processes that may seem external. However, such processes might be legitimised when they are the artist’s own invention rather than borrowed. Similarly, the use of sound and image content often draws on a borrowed memory.

The Cinematic Art Gallery emerged as an extension of the Festival’s curatorial work, focusing on projects that explore the intersection between cinema and contemporary art.

The Cave, alongside the Cinematic Art Gallery, also features emerging names in cinematic art.
