The story of Belarmino Fragoso, boxer and legend from Lisbon, figure of a certain city in the impossibility of freedom, is a social portrait of a country made of promises and resignations. "Belarmino" is, also, the film that will assert Augusto Cabrita as a cinematographer, beginning a collaborative journey with a generation of filmmakers, auteurs, musicians, and artists who insisted on telling stories as they should be told. The movie is presented in a copy digitized by the Portuguese Cinematheque – Film Museum.
