Paying homage to Georges de La Tour, Godard reproduces of the artist’s painting in a cinematographic tableau vivant. Filmed in 1981 and produced by Francis Ford Coppola, it was edited in 2006 in the context of the “Voyage(s) en utopies, Jean-Luc Godard, 1946-2006” exhibit and the Pompidou Centre.
